What are the ingredients of Simplicity Plus® scoopable cat litter products?
Simplicity Plus® cat litter is made from 100% Sodium Bentonite clay Sodium bentonite is a soft clay substance, composed of clay minerals. It is listed with the FDA as a substance generally recognized as safe for use, and is also used as an additive in other products including cosmetics and animal feeds. Sodium bentonite is primarily located in the mountainous regions of Wyoming, where it has formed naturally for over hundreds of years.

Can I mix scoopable and non-scoopable litters?
We do not recommend mixing Simplicity Plus® scoopable cat litter and non-scoopable litter, as this will inhibit the scoopable litter's capacity to clump.

How should I dispose of Simplicity Plus® cat litter? Is it okay to flush it down the toilet?
Used cat litter and solid waste should only be disposed of in the trash. We do not recommend flushing any cat litter down the toilet.

Is it unsafe for pregnant women to handle unused cat litter?
Unused cat litter is safe for handling by pregnant women. However, pregnant women should avoid handling used cat litter. Toxoplasmosis, a condition caused by a parasite, can be sometimes transmitted by cat feces. Pregnant and nursing women and people with suppressed immune systems should exercise caution and consult with a physician before handling the litter box.

Is Simplicity Plus® cat litter safe for my cat?
Yes. It is safe! As a major manufacturer of cat litter, we take a great care to assure that our products are safe for both you and your cat!

Why Simplicity Plus® crystal silica gel change color during use?
It's normal for the blue crystals to change color due to exposure to urine.

What is OdourCheckTM technology and how does it work?
Odour checkTM is a unique combination of multiple enzymes that work naturally to combat odours right at the source. Odour CheckTM is all natural odour control system, and it's completely safe for cats, kittens, people, and the environment

Is clumping litter dust harmful?
No. Clay dust is not harmful to you or your cat! A 1992-1994 study conducted by the TRC Environmental Corporation states that the amount of dust in clumping litter is well below harmful levels. Simplicity Plus® clumping cat litter is made from natural clay.

Where is a good location for my litter box?
We recommend that you place the litter box in a quiet, out-of-the-way area, away from your cat's food dish and bed.

How do you fill the cat's litter box?
1. Fill your clean litter box with 4 inches (10cm) of Simplicity Plus® cat litter. For the best results, do not mix with other litters
2. Remove clumps and solid waste daily, or as needed. The remaining granules are fresh, clean, and odour free.
3. Add more Simplicity Plus® cat litter as necessary to maintain a depth of 4 inches (10cm).
